Great Food and Bad Service

Pardon me if this is rather long. This rag has been coming for a long time and I'm a little reluctant, however it needs to be said.

I work nearby the Village Bakehouse and they're known for their excellent breakfasts, sandwiches and extremely delicious pies, cakes and pastries. It's all true. Their food is amazing.

That's why it's such a shame that they're just not staffed by friendly, efficient or considerate people in the afternoons. In the morning the staff is quick and happy to see you. In the afternoon, the folks behind the counter glare at you when you walk into their establishment. No one is friendly and they seem to be annoyed that you're even there. I've been the only person in there more than a couple times and they forgot my order! They never apologize or try to make it right. It's no wonder that they don't have customers in the afternoons with those workers in there. Why can't the owners make a better effort to ensure they have good customer service at all times of the day?

I give them another chance at least once a year, because the food is amazing. Every year they dissappoint me. Never again.
